Offered is an authentic vintage set of Calcutta patio chairs by Brown Jordan with the “BJ” label on each chair. This set has been professionally sandblasted down to the original metal finish, primed, painted and sealed. We’ve included a photo of original condition when we acquired them and another of the raw metal finish once professionally sandblasted for fun. This set is marked on every chair “BJ”.
Calcutta pieces are often featured by top designers like Mark Sikes. Billy Ceglia was a hit at last Spring’s Palm Beach Kip's Bay Show House with the patio designed in Calcutta. It's also featured on the cover of last year’s Southern Living Entertaining Magazine. Even the White House has the iconic Calcutta set, as recreated on ABC's “Scandal”. Designed by Hall Bradley for Brown Jordan in 1967.
