Offered is a solid wood tea table by Kindel Furniture. The Heaton tea table is the epitome of Irish rococo and dates from the mid-18th century. The dish top is typical of Irish fashion with the scallop shell on the apron, and each cabriole leg integrating beautifully with the swirls of acanthus on either side. Perhaps the most exquisite feature is the carving of the double scrolled triffid feet centered with leaf carved socks leading up the legs.

The table owned by Hubert Heaton is undoubtably, one of the finest Irish tea tables in existence. It has been beautifully reproduced by Kindel. This solid wood table features a high gloss black finish (not original) and Kindel label on the underside.
