Beautiful 19th century Kingwood writing desk with black leather top standing on ornate cabriole legs. This Louis XV French Kingswood desk was made in Spain. The desk top has the original black leather surface with embellished gilt tooling. The desk features bronze capped edges over a serpentine front apron decorated with three frieze drawers on both sides dressed with bronze handles, escutcheons and decorative florals motif on each side. On one side, the 3 drawers are dummies and on the other they are open and close smoothly. 
Beautiful condition for its age. The finish was recently sanded, wood conditioned, stained and sealed. Please review all photos.
